Intro

Following the success of our previous Football Festivals / Tournaments at Storrington Community FC once again we are aiming to make the most of the excellent location, facilities and the pitch available at Storrington Community Football Club and host our Annual Youth Football Festival / Tournament on Saturday 10th May 2025
Games will be 10-12 minutes long
Tournament Format

Tournament Format – to be confirmed closer to the time
Under 8s will be non-competitive and 5-a-side per team (each player will get a medal)
Under 9s, 10s & 11s will be 6-a-side format
10-12 min matches with no half time or change of ends.
Tournament organiser will provide Referees

Sat – 09.00 – 12.00 – U8s
Sat – 09.00 – 12.00 – U9s
Sat – 14.00 – 17.00 – U10s
Sat – 14.00 – 17.00 – U11s

Please download the Player Registration Form – Please complete and bring to the registration desk in the control room, which can be found downstairs at the Football club next to the small seating area, this will be marked up as Control Room

How many teams per Age Group?
We will be aiming for 10-12 teams per age group
What is my team or club affiliation number?
Each club is affiliated to their local county football association. If you do not know your affiliation number ask your club secretary
How many players can we have in our squad?
Each team is allowed 10 players in their squad on the day.
Please note proof of ID or evidence of 2023/24 player registration card with that club could be requested on the day of the tournament.
Do I need to bring my own first aid kit?
Yes, we recommend you bring your own first aid kit. We will have first aiders on site but each team must have its own first aiders and coaches
Can I bring my own food and drink – or portable bbq?
We are aiming to have hot food being sold on site but you are welcome to bring own food and non alcoholic drinks.
We do not permit portable bbq on site.
There will be bins around the site for your rubbish
Can we use the changing rooms on site?
No, sorry on the days of the tournament the changing rooms will be
a) referee resting rooms and
b) medical room
Are there car parking and visitor entry fees
We do not plan to charge for car parking and we do not charge an entry fee to spectators.
